2000 - 2001 : Together with Danish Kristian Joos (42 in 2006), Gregers Gjersoe leaves Hercules Inlet on November 20th 2000 for a supported trip to South Pole. On January 13th 2001, after 55 days trek, team reaches SP claiming victory. It's the first time that an danish expedition reaches the SP.
