Expedition communication : three main areas

LEARNING BY ADVENTURE

During the expedition, the American concept of "Learning by adventure" will be particularly developed, due to the help of Pierre Dillenbourg, who is developing this concept in Europe, mainly in Switzerland.
He will be proposing to the schools of the whole world to take advantage of this adventure to interest young people in the Polar Regions and to make them aware of the importance of protecting our global environment.

OUR WEBSITE : ANTARCTICA.ORG

The www.antarctica.org website. The Flemish radio journalist Kathelijne Van Heukelom (who is helping us as well in some sections of our site) is going to join the Wall Expedition ; she will be in charge of organizing the communication between Antrctica and Brussels - channeling photos and press communiqués to Michel Brent.
American Ronald Ross who is well equiped with all sorts of satellite communications systems (and who has experienced this high technology in the Queen Maud Land last year) will help Kathelijne in her communication job. He also will remain at the base camp.
The expedition will thus be in permanent contact with the HQ in Brussels, and all the expedition information will be accessible via www.antarctica.org

THE FILM (SUPER 35 mm FORMAT)

For this expedition, Alain Hubert and his team will be seeking to inspire all those who dream of adventure in the real sense of theword. To this end, a film will be shot in 35mm format.
"The Wall" will be a film recounting the daily life of an expedition in Antarctica.
It will contain a blend of the story of the discovery of this mysterious continent, an assessment of the scientific research, the ups and downs of the polar expedition, and the scaling of the vertiginous wall of the Holtanna.
A thrilling experience...
