This is a team of five. American Matty McNair (53) guides her children Sarah (18) and Eric (20) from Hercules Inlet to South Pole and back with two other companions. Unsupported and using powerkites.

They want to inspire youth worldwide to follow their dreams, no matter how unattainable they may seem and to raise awareness of the beauty and fragility of Polar regions through an informative website, updated daily from our tent.

Sarah and Eric McNair are the children of the well know polar veteran Paul Landry who is guiding the TransAntarctic Expedition leaded by Patrick Woodhead (see our coverage)
