The Franco-Finnish adventurer, Dominick Arduin, is making a second attempt on the route between Cape Arktichevski and the North Pole, alone and with no outside assistance.

Last year, Dominick set out from Cape Arktichevski on 4th March 2003. Unfortunately, she fell into the water on 17th March and was completed immersed. This led to her being evacuated home on account of the serious frostbite to her feet that she was beginning to suffer from. Two days later, an MI 8 helicopter flew her back to Stredny Island.
